The following gives a brief description of several projects that Visitech has been fortunate enough to work on. Each one describes the challenges and contributions that Visitech has made but much of the detail will have been omitted for Copyright and IP reasons. Camera Filter System

Visitech was aproached by a leading camera accesory supplier, to help develop an updated filter system. The existing products had enjoyed many years as one of the industries leading camera accessories and is still highly revered by both Professional Photographers and enthusiasts alike. However, it was in need of a face lift and although it did everything a filter system should, growing competition meant this product needed to be the best it could with improved materials, light weight, more features and provide a superior user experience.

Design Input
From a basic brief, Visitech worked with the client a UK plastic moulding company, to explore every aspect of the systems performance. Concepts from simple improvements to radical ideas were assessed and ranked for risks and benefits, until a best case product specification was agreed. A manufacturable solution was then develop and engineered in 3D CAD. Printed prototypes were thouroughly tested and designs tweaked until production tooling was commissioned. Further testing was carried out to perfect the design until the product was launched this year at the 2019 Photography show at the NEC..

Electronics Packaging

This is a network system for a company who provides measuring systems to the precision engineering and CNC machining industry. These units are designed to link multiple measurement systems together in a wet and hot environment so must be robust and waterproof.

Design Input
From initial concepts through to production. Visitech worked with the client to explore all the physical constraints along side the electrical / electronic requirements and then presented several concepts for approval. Once a concept was agreed, a fully engineered system was developed in 3D CAD. This design was prototyped and further developed with Visitech, into the final product that the client currently markets.

Cricket Helmet Design

Masuri had previously enjoyed great success selling a fiberglass helmet to cricketers for may years but as the game became more competitive and standards advanced, the need for a more advanced helmet design became essential. Visitech took on the challenge to design a safety complaint product that would provide superior protection without sacrificing weight maintaining the look of traditional Cricket apparel

Gaming Machine Interface

Dedicated products such as this one for the gaming industry, tend to be very low volume. So developing professional products that work reliably in demanding environments, to very tight budgets, is critical to the success of this type of project. We were able to source sheet metal components locally in batches of ten and used 3D printed parts for the mouldings.

Wine Box Packaging

The major supplier of wine and wine boxes in the UK was looking to produce a new format of wine box. This wine box was to improve shelf stacking in supermarkets and provide a novel way of presenting the wine for the end user. This project took a concept design from a marketing agency, that included plastic mouldings and deliver, not only a beautifully engineered product but a design solution for the machinery that would assemble the boxes.. Working with the agency, a moulding company and the cardboard supplier, Visitech developed a manufacturable product and a design for a special purpose machine to assemble the box and present it to a wine filling station. The assembly machine was a fully functioning design and an animations was created to demonstrate it's potential.
